WHERE AND WHEN ARE MEDICALS DONE?

Where?

The CAA and the EASA authorities approve not only doctors but also the premises and facilities to conduct aviation medicals. I’m approved to conduct medicals at North Tees Hospital, Stockton on Tees.

The postcode (for GPS users!) is TS19 8PE. Park in the patient car park, it’s a short walk through the main entrance, following signs (or ask at reception for directions) to the Cardiology Day Unit (CDU) where I will meet you. Here is a map of the hospital layout showing where the Cardiology Day Unit is. Depending on the time of day, you can use the main entrance or side entrance (which is a shorter walk). Both are shown on the map.

Please wear a 'face covering' inside the hospital to comply with current guidance. Should you require it, I'll be able to provide you with a new mask when we meet, but you'll need a face covering for the walk (inside the hospital) to the Cardiology Day Unit.
